The WNY Network of Biblical Storytellers attempts to establish trusting relationships based on respect for personal identity and information by promoting the use of fair information practices. This privacy statement covers the site http://wny.nobs.org. The WNY Network of Biblical Storytellers, which operates this website, collects absolutely no information on any user visiting this website. We feel that those using this site do so for information or other purposes and are not obliged to provide any information to us unless they so desire. There is no information collected by third parties from this site. Should a user choose to provide information to our staff through this site, under no circumstances will that, or any part of that information, be shared with a third party unless the user expressly states it is their desire that we do so. It is our policy that any information users submit about themselves is strictly confidential and to be used by the staff or church members only for the user's intended purpose in providing that information. Users may correct any information they had previously submitted to The WNY Network of Biblical Storytellers by simply contacting the director or website facilitator and correcting any information desired by way of the telephone, mailing address or E-mail address provided on the navigational bar to the left of each page. If users have questions or concerns regarding this statement, they should first contact the director by E-mail or the website facilitator.   Information Collection and Use   Information Collection The WNY Network of Biblical Storytellers is is the sole owner of the information obtained through http://wny.nobs.org. The WNY Network of Biblical Storytellers collects no information from our users at any points on our Web site unless the user submits information of their choice to our staff through this site. When the user submits information on their own, it is held in strict confidence and is not shared with anyone outside of the The WNY Network of Biblical Storytellers.     Information Use Profile We do not collect or store any information on users through cookies, log files, clear gifs, and/or third parties to create a profile of our users. No profile or information about clients is stored on our website and we do not retain individual user information that details their viewing preferences. Consequently, there is no collected information on our website tied to the users that personally identifies information about them. No profile is collected or used to tailor a user’s visit to our Web site or to direct pertinent marketing promotions to them. We do not share your profile or any information about you with third parties. We simply do not collect or retain any profile on our users.   Cookies We do not use a cookie, a piece of data stored on the user’s computer, to obtain or track information about the user. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.    Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs) We do not employ a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help websites manage content on our site by informing them of what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. The main difference between the two is that clear gifs are invisible on the page and are much smaller, about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We do not use clear gifs in any way. In addition, we do not use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by the recipients.   Service Announcements Someday there may be an occasion that necissitates sending out a strictly service-related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send users an email if they have given their email address to our office. Users may always opt-out of these communications by simply informomg our office that they do not wish to receive such announcements through regular E-mail..
